Sketches and Drawings
by Taylor Sligowski

Welcome to Taylor Sligowski drawings gallery. Many of her works are so called “first time drawings and sketches”. I was really impressed how well she was able to capture the accuracy of drawing objects as the first-time attempt.

Keep in mind that those are first time drawings. If she can make her first-time drawings this good, then she truly has a great artistic ability. Good work Taylor and we can’t wait to see your other drawings and sketches.

Look at her “first eagle drawing”. Proportions and overall balance are captured excellently well. This is a great example of someone who follows the tutorials on this website.

Contour rose drawing would also look great if colored. The same is with tiger’s face.

Let’s observe the Great Dane’s eyes, for a while. The kindness in that dog’s look is expressed outstandingly. Please try to find these types of subtle details, as many as possible, because these details almost always determine the value of the artwork.

Cute little Easter Bunny carrying and Easter Egg with butterflies all over the place…such an awesome concept and great idea. Every kid would love to have this drawing or painting.

Another Taylor’s cool drawing is: “Hawaiian flower surfing the waves”. Go and browse through this small gallery and you’ll find many inspirational ideas for your own drawings.

First Eagle Drawing

I got this picture from this web site and I loved it so much I started drawing it right away.

It took me an hour but I think it turned out great.

Contour rose drawing :)

I got a new sketch pad just the other day and of course you gotta put it use, so I drew a rose :P

I love roses.
ENJOY !
PS: It may look hard, but it is the most easiest thing ever to draw. My tip is : draw lightly first and allow your self to make mistakes. Everyone learns from mistakes.
Keep trying and you'll succeed. All it is is practice :)

My first drawing of a Tiger face

I was really bored one day and I was just sitting down on my bed thinking of what to do. I felt like drawing, but I was having one of those artist block days were I couldn't think of anything good enough. So, I decided to pick my favorite animal, tiger, and draw it. And I came up with this drawing. :)

Hope you all like it :P

HAPPY EASTER EVERYBUNNY :)

It's close to Easter and I like bunnies so I drew this <3
ENJOY.

My first Great Dane drawing :)

I was in the library and picked up a sketch book and saw this and I wanted to give it a shot and draw it so I did :) I think it turned out pretty well :)

First drawing of a bird

I was wanting to try something new so I thought of a bird. I think it turned out okay, but I would appreciate any other tips to make it better. Thanks and enjoy.
