Let me introduce you to Amanda Elizabeth Sullivan from Cambridge UK. Her simple cartoon sketches contain a lot of very interesting ideas.

These cute original ideas may seem too simple, but I love the initial spark in them. For instance, see the description for “Sunflower”: …”two-tone leaves showing the sunshine personality…” All I can say is: cute cool idea.

Often, the coolest and greatest ideas are hidden and disguised in tiny and almost invisible details. When you browse these galleries, you’ll find many such unusual ideas.

Sketch of “Manga Flower Girl” is very interesting. As if representing a spring time when everything is awakening. Girl figure, as a female power is a perfect personification for spring. Full of hopes, new horizons and zest for life.

I also like the very interesting and unusual coloring scheme on “Pinky”. She has pink hair, pinkish bracelet but the flower bouquet is full of vivid colors. Cool concept.

Sketch of “Manga Cat” with psychedelic coat…what an awesome idea! I absolutely love the idea of coloring the “coat”. This simple sketch would be worthy to RE-draw and create an original artwork of a cat in many color variations on the “coat”.

Colors, as you see, have a tremendous power and impact on every living organism and especially on us humans. I love the way how Amanda uses very bright and vivid colors in her sketches.
