Lela Stankovic
Portrait Drawings

Welcome to Lela Stankovic’s portrait drawing page. I am so happy we have Lela here with her portraits. Drawing human faces, portraits can be a real challenge and not everyone would dare to even try. But you, my friends who challenge yourself and give it a try, you are on the cutting edge :)

Many artists like drawing faces in a very realistic, photo-like resemblance. Others are putting on the paper or canvas the extract, the feeling of the portrait. Both approaches are cool.

I am a big admirer of Picasso’s simple portrait sketches of his young love Francoise Gilot. Picasso’s super simple line sketches of her face are just awesome and expressing the very essence of the model. Just google those portraits and you’ll be amazed!

Lela Stankovic’s portraits contain a very similar feeling, face expression that is hidden in the model.

I love all Lela‘s portrait drawings because I can feel the passion and warmth behind it.

Again, I hope you can get a lot of inspiration from her nice portraits :)
