I would like to introduce you to Nadia Velasquez from Fresno –
California. Here are a few of her sketches. We will be looking
forward to see her other artwork coming soon.
Take a closer look at her flower drawings, you’ll instantly notice that
Nadia has a great sense for making them look a bit unusual. Whether she
made this on purpose or it just came out naturally is not important.
Important is that this unusual idea exists.
Her rose drawing in pen with the leaves made in kind a flat fashion, is a cool concept. It would look even greater if colored.
Artists very often, and I would say almost always, have no idea what the
end details will look like on the finished drawing or painting. It is
because inspiration is always flowing to us and as we work out the
drawing, new ideas are constantly popping out on our minds. This process
is almost impossible to stop.
White flower on the black background is awesome idea as well. Grey color
tone background or black one is a great contrast color for almost any
artwork. I would like to grab your attention even on these kinds of
details.
