I have been sketching a lot of faces because I admire so many different types of people and I try to capture some emotion or lack of. I am very new at this. I would love feed back from anyone who would care to critique my work. Thanks.

Very good start Peggy! You have sense for the total balance now you can begin practicing how to work out the details on each face part, namely eyes, ears, nose, lips, etc. There are countless good free resources online you can tap into and simply practice them by doodling and sketching. Drawing is a LEARN-able skill therefore anyone who loves to draw can learn and develop the skill to desired level. Please check out "Drawing on the right side of the brain" by Betty Edwards. There is a book and workbook. The best would be however, if you can attend a 1-3 days (boot-camp)training. Check out online if there is any available in your area, I can tell you from my experience that this "Drawing on the right side of the brain" training is worth every penny. You'll discover hidden abilities inside you that you may not be aware of yet :) Wish you all the best!
