I decided to put colors so as to make it more attractive to the eyes. This type of art has its own beauty without colors. But with colors I think its better.

May b countries which promotes calligraphy
by: Shehbaaz Baurtally

To Emma Adams. Thanks for loving these art of mine. I personally think there is no country which is specially known for it coz in the past many countries were doing it and having their own styles. But i think countries where there are still schools teaching old spencerian style of writting, offhand flourishing, then they will have a tendency to teach accunthus scroll, victorian style and other old decorative styles.

May be you can search ebooks available on the net about spencerian calligraphy, gothic, sign arts, ornamental acunthus, victorian etc. Or you can just observe photos of sign art/hand lettering, acunthus decor, victorian etc....Observe their fundamentals and develop your own way of expressing it.

Or just contact me personally may b i can help even though am amateur not pro ;)

Yes its rare
by: Shehbaaz Baurtally

I hold same thinking; that this style is rare. Even in my country am not seeing anyone who is making it except myself. I think this is a type of art which is attractive to all.

Fantastic! It already looks so complex when only made by one black pen, yet, when you add colors it suddenly gets an impression of an almost "impossible" artwork :) I guess only very few people actually create this kind of time consuming art as it was done hundreds of years ago although they did not use ball pen at the time.
