Hints for superfoods for brain
by: Shehbaaz Baurtally

Well, normally its better to have whole turmeric. But powder is ok provided that it does not have chemical components. I take around half of a glass filled with water. Then put a small amount of crushed ginger, turmeric and pepper powder. Here in Mauritius turmeric plant is common. Not far from my house, there are several turmeric plant at my paternal uncle's place.

Other superfoods for the brain are honey, almond, apple, gingseng, black seed which is available in the form of powder or oil, even in honey. In general there are many "brain boosters" but these are most popular. However we must consume them reasonably.

Thanks Shehbaaz for advice :) We have ginger here in Japan, using it when cooking. Turmeric (Indian origin, I guess) powder is possible to purchase on the net, but it's maybe better to buy whole turmeric than powder(?). I used to make a freshly shredded "ginger tea", boil it for cca 3 min and drink. It helps me always when I got cold. I would like to know if there is more effective way to consume turmeric and ginger, I would very much appreciate if you can advise please? Thank you :)
