My name is Ruth Sager and I retired in March of 2014. I took up art as a hobby and I would like to submit the following drawings and paintings. Al these done through practice. The Doberman was done earlier, the tiger and the raccoons just recently. I have just started volunteering at a Wildlife centre here close to my home as part of my retirement. So I have lots of inspiration to do animals now.

Persistence to get better
by: Ruth

Thank you Ivan. I am getting better with practice. I see improvement as I continue. Sometimes I am not totally satisfied but I keep telling myself to be patient with my work. I guess all artists go through that. Also to let you know that I am also a landscape painter. Painting with acrylics. This is my hobby and I will continue to work at it as I enjoy it so much. I don't know where the drive is coming from but I just want to do the art now.

:) i am so happy for you that you began learning drawing and painting :) these animal drawings are well done and you might not be totally satisfied with your work yet, but you absolutely CAN do it because drawing or painting is a LEARN-able skill :) please keep on drawing and painting :)

PS: also, pls RE submit the bunny, parrots, two other animals done earlier...bcs only your written comment arrived, not the drawings :)
