International Space Station

The International Space Station (ISS) is a joint venture between Canada, Europe, Japan, Russia and the United States. The first component was set up in 1998 and the first long-term residents arrived in 2000. It circles the Earth every 92 minutes and is visible with the naked eye as it flies overhead. Have you seen it?

My computer drawings are a source of great pleasure to me and I learn more and more with each drawing. This is the first time I've created my own stars and drawing the Earth at night complete with an atmosphere took me quite a while but I think it turned out well. The ISS itself took me a long time because I am very particular with accurate dimensions.

I hope you enjoy this drawing as I have enjoyed all the artwork on this wonderful website.

Have fun pursuing your artwork! That's the most important thing. (I always tell people I didn't start computer drawing until last year, at the age of 64, so its never to late.)

wow! Your computer artwork looks very nice :) I admire your courage and learning spirit. Your recent artwork of solar system was also very interesting. I also like space related stuff, and yes I saw many times the flying space station at night back then when the skies were clear before chemtrails insanity began and the starry night was a standard sight even in bigger cities. Please keep on your great work and keep on sharing your artwork :)
