Before i started to actually draw, i did an outline, very minimal lines and did simple lines in the areas that the light source didnt cover. From there i just used that to shade in the areas on the real drawing.

OH man, this drawing is too good.What stands out the most is the great use of shadows which give a lot of life to the drawing. I'd love to see more. Is it okay to ask, how did you do the shadows so well?
