Chateau Miranda is located in Celles, Province of Namur, Belgium. Said to be haunted, it was designed in
1866 and completed in 1907.
Descendants of the original owners (the Liedekerke-De Beaufort family) resided there until WW2 when it was
occupied by German Forces during the Battle of the Bulge. It was taken over by the National Railway
Company of Belgium in 1950 and run as an orphanage/children's camp until the late 1970's.
During this time it was known as "Chateau Noisy". I wouldn't have called it "Chateau Noisy",
I would have called it "Chateau Kids Having Fun".
Unfortunately it was completely demolished in October of 2017 due to a lack of upkeep and vandalism.
