An indifferent dresser

A little history about this drawing... In 2004, long, long before I was aware of the existence of the wildly popular Funko Pops, I took an art class in my high school freshman year and the teacher gave us a drawing book in which I drew posters of and scenes from horror movies, namely The Shining and Phantasm. But what I was really interested in doing was this indifferent-looking person of whom I would dress up in random costumes, especially of horror movie characters. It was such liberating fun that it took up two full pages in my book.

As the years passed, I've done it once in a blue moon whenever a piece of paper, whole or ripped, was in my hand and an interesting costume came to mind. And of course, with Funko Pops practically dominating every toy aisle and toy store I've walked into and every YouTube Funko news my brother watches, himself a fan of Funko, I'm becoming reminded of my drawings (he even said the one reason he's obsessed with Funko is because they reminded him of my drawings).

What you see is an outline of the character and I am happy to take suggestions on what to dress them up as.

Please check out more of my drawings as well as my comic strips, Mr. McCarey & Keith, on Instagram, @TJtheMovieFreak. Also, please check out my shop on Payhip.com/TJtheMovieFreak!
