Wonderful Tutorial

I had a friend pass recently. I planted 10 Trees in his memory. I wanted to draw an oak and incorporate his name on the trunk and frame it for his mother.

I have been able to draw visually, just by looking at something since my middle teens. However, I have never been able to draw a tree that was realistic. I prefer charcoals, but I find that trees look more detailed with pencil.

I purchased the tool supply list and I am so impressed with my finished work. I can't wait to give this to his family along with the tree planting memorial certificate. Thank you so much for your help.
