I have always divided my circle by folding it, and using the fold lines as the points, but by doing it that way, you can only get even numbered points. I've been stumped by odd number points! I would not ever have thought of doing it that way (using degrees). I guess I've been out of school too long! It is so easy! Thank you so much!!! By the way, I'm a quilter!! This is going to come in handy!
