good tutorial

i just had a few problems with the darkening. see im not the best artist i'm just trying to have fun and i can't seem to find many drawings that i can draw on this website for someone of my skill.

:) i can assure you, you can! If you follow the tutorial from the very first step, don't mind - if you have no confidence - how far can you proceed with the drawing. Just begin! If you are stuck then start all over again - the same drawing, and you'll amaze yourself how far you'll be able to proceed. It is often all about repetition, I know it may seem awkward but in fact it is the best learning process that every artist actually do. Famous artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Picasso...etc, they all repeated their drawings-sketches-studies countless times until it became a perfect painting. I give a proof: take a paper and draw a free hand circle. NOW! ...how is it? Did you draw a perfect round circle...? Maybe and maybe not. So REPEAT the process of drawing the same circle another 20 or 30 times. The chances are that on the 10th trial your circle will be nearly perfect :)
